Urban Design Forum

The Urban Design Forum convenes civic leaders to confront the defining issues in New York City’s built environment. The 2021 election is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to define a new plan for our city by:

• Shaping equitable and fair growth citywide
• Leading in design excellence across the public realm and public buildings
• Ensuring ongoing community engagement through real civic infrastructure
• Developing community planning tools to welcome good growth
• Instituting a right to housing that secures permanent homes for every New Yorker
• Safeguarding the city with a comprehensive climate strategy
• Establishing working neighborhoods and access to good jobs in every borough
