Regional Plan Association

For nearly 100 years, Regional Plan Association (RPA) has been a thought leader for policy makers and opinion shapers across the tri-state region. RPA’s priorities and recommendations for the incoming administration are to:

• Work towards an equitable recovery by supporting efforts like the Inclusive Growth Initiative
• Learn from the challenges COVID-19 has exacerbated and tackle our public health issues
• Save our public transportation system by working with the MTA and State and Federal legislators to address funding shortfalls
• Build trust in the planning process that’s required to address issues around segregation and inequality
• Root our efforts to address climate change in environmental justice
• Continue to reprioritize our City streets
