A set of rectangles give the illusion of an impossible 3D shape. They contain the words "Shaping a Better NYC" on their left side and "An Election Primer" on the right side.

In this defining and historic election, New York City’s planning and design organizations have gathered to convene conversations with candidates vying to become our next mayor.

Eight partnering organizations, with a collective audience of over 200,000 New Yorkers, have recorded interviews with the leading mayoral candidates on critical issues facing our city.

We call on our next leaders to craft fearless proposals that center equitable design, planning, and development in order to shape a better New York City.
